MARATA MCU-300 AUTOMATION CONTROLLER.

The MCU-300 has been designed to provide a simple automated control system for installations using projectors, motorised screens, motorised lifts, motorised curtains and any other motorised or electronically controlled devices.

The MCU-300 can be used to automatically operate a motorised screen and up to two auxiliary devices when an incoming trigger signal is received.

The MCU-300 can be triggered by a contact closure, 5-30V DC trigger output from a connected device such as a video/data projector and via RS232. By adding an optional IR receiver module (MCU-IRRX) any IR code can be used to trigger the MCU-300.

When a trigger input is received, the MCU-300 screen relay will activate and provide operating mains voltage to lower a motorised screen. The two Auxiliary relays will also activate providing a volts-free contact closure. When the trigger input is removed (by breaking contacts, dropping trigger voltage to 0V or sending an IR code) the relays will return to their normally closed position causing the screen to retract and the auxiliary devices to return to their "off" status.

Each relay can be delayed to allow synchronisation of controlled devices and when using IR codes or RS232, each relay can be individually controlled or all controlled together.

The MCU-300 is supplied with configuration software will allow each of the relay delays to be set accurately between 0 and 31 seconds; set to latching/momentary; enable or disable any of the three relays; learn IR codes; test the operation of system and more. An optional serial communications cable (MCU-SCOM-CAB) is required for computer programming or control by RS232 from control systems such as Crestron, AMX or Polaron.

The MCU-300 capabilities can be expanded further by connecting additional modules such as the MCU-REM (relay expansion module, with 6 relays), GSM module (to phone-in commands to the MCU), MCU-C2S (contact to serial code converter board) & MCU-UNI-IR (IR to RC5-IR / RS232 code converter board)

Somfy Remote Control Kits

Marata Vision are able to supply Somfy's remote control kits. These are available in 1 or 3 channel form, for use with 240V mains or low voltage equipment, with IR or RF options.

They are suitable for use with Vutec motorised screens, and simple control of blinds, curtains and other applications where relay based remote control is required.
